Organized on November 28 in Strasbourg, France, the Optiday is the first event dedicated to search engine marketing in Alsace. On the menu, some various talks focused on SEO, SEA, and SMM with Search Marketing specialists, and your humble servant who will manage the event on social media!
The first SEM event in Alsace
At the beginning of the Optiday, there are nine people from Strasbourg, experienced web professionals and SEM enthusiasts, united with a common goal: to organize the first event exclusively dedicated to SEM in the region. For those who would ignore it, Alsace isn’t very active yet although there are numerous actors in this field as, for example, the Licence Référenceur & Rédacteur Web, the most recognized French training dedicated to SEO. By organizing the Optiday, the goal is to create an event that meets expectations.
The Optiday’s Program
The Optiday’s baseline is the “search optimist”: the recent and multiple changes made by Google in its search engine would constitute many opportunities to make your business evolve in the right direction, as long as they’re being correctly taken into account.
In order to bring a practical perspective to the event’s participants, Aude Simon Curot, Alexandre Santoni, Raphaël Doucet, Germain Butrot, Vincent Ferrand and Frédérik Bobet, experts from the four corners of France, will share their expertise through quality talks on: local search optimization, Google Plus, netlinking, and many other topics.
Olivier Andrieu, sponsor of the Optiday
For this first edition, the organization team have chosen to honour the famous Olivier Andrieu, author of Abondance and many books on search engine optimization, including the six editions of “Réussir son référencement web” and “SEO Zéro Euro”. He will be also one of the speakers of the event!
